Valentines Paper Heart Wreath

20+ Easy Valentine Crafts for Kids - Happiness is Homemade

This is a Valentines wreath for kids to do, its fun and its simple. My kids and I do this craft every year and just add new items every year. This is the about the third on we made; the first one we made was just plain red without the Pom Pom, and the second on was pink without the Pom Pom. There are a lot of different ways that this little craft can be done and every way is enjoyable. Now lets get to enjoying this craft!

What you'll need:

  • cardstock or construction paper will work also
  • stapler or glue
  • ribbon or yarn
  • paper cutter or scissors
Note: If you want to add the Pom Pom you can make one or you can buy some at your local dollar store. My family just bought ours so we could spend more time doing other crafts.

Directions:
  • Fold your papers in half long ways and cut into strips until you have enough to do the wreath
  • Take stripes and staple or glue into heart shapes
  • After you get all you strips looking like hearts let them dry
  • After completely dry glue the hearts together in a circle to make it look like a wreath.
  • On the bottom of the top heart add the Pom Pom if you'd like or leave it off if you prefer.
  • Finally, add your ribbon or yarn
And that's it! Let the glue dry completely and hang it up to have a wonderful wreath for Valentines Day!
