Cheerio Corn on the Cob

 Corn on the cob is a big Thanksgiving tradition in most households and in most cases the kids actually like to eat said corn on the cob. So why not make a craft corn on the cob that the kids will love to make.


Cheerio Corn on the Cob - Paper Kid Craft Idea For Fall



Cheerio Corn on the Cob Craft Supplies:

  • Free Corn on the Cob Printable {Download HERE}
  • White Cardstock
  • Color Printer
  • Yellow Crayon, Coloring Pencil or Marker
  • Dry Cheerios or similar Circular Cereal
  • Basic School Glue

 

Directions:

1. First download and print the corn template on white cardstock. You only need ONE print per craft. Feel free to print as many as you like!
 

2. Now that you have the printable printed out, grab your choice of yellow coloring utensil.

3. Color in the center of the corn, completely yellow.
 
4. Next up – put a good layer of glue all over the yellow portion you just colored in.
 
5. Have your child lay the cereal on top of the glue, until it’s completely covered.

6. And that’s it! Now set aside the cheerio covered piece, to let it dry completely.


7. Before displaying your Cheerio Corn on the Cob, carefully remove any cereal that didn’t quite stick to the glue {discard}
 

8. Then display proudly for all to see!
